A Gift for the Locals

At Windswept Safaris, caring for the communities that welcome us is an important part of what we do. Beyond sharing Kenya’s extraordinary wildlife and landscapes, we believe in contributing to the lives of the people who make this country so special.

Through donations, we help provide food, livestock such as cows and sheep, essential supplies, school fees, classroom materials, and water tank refills. These contributions help meet everyday needs and support opportunities for children and families.

Some of the schools we support operate with very limited resources. Sanitation facilities may be basic pit latrines, and their soccer balls are made from plastic wrap and rubber bands. For many parents, keeping up with school fees is an ongoing challenge. These communities are also places of creativity, determination, and hope, where families and teachers work hard to give children opportunities to thrive.

If there is a particular area you would like to support, please let us know. You can also choose to have your donation directed toward the most pressing needs we identify at the time. Either way, we will let you know how your contribution was used.
