Shelly is an American world traveler with a degree in Global Studies and a wildlife photographer (most of the pics on this website are hers). Samuel (Odie) is of the Maasai tribe and has over 12 years experience as a tour guide . With their combined experience, dedication, and unique blend of international perspective they'll ensure you have an authentic and unforgettable adventure!

Authentic Cultural Immersion
We go beyond just driving you to places. With Windswept Safaris, we can immerse you into authentic culture experiences. The Maasai is one of the few tribes in the world that still practices many of their ancient traditions. Since Odie is of the Maasai tribe, we visit some of his family's traditional homes, hike "into the bush", wield Maasai weapons (bows, spears, machetes), and visit some local artisan shops. These experiences are as real and enriching as they come.
