Shelly is an American world traveler with a degree in Global Studies and a wildlife photographer (most of the pics on this website are hers). Samuel (Odie) is of the Maasai tribe and has over 12 years experience as a tour guide . With their combined experience, dedication, and unique blend of international perspective you are guaranteed an authentic and unforgettable adventure!

Authentic Cultural Immersion
We go beyond just driving you to places. With Windswept Safaris, you are immersed into authentic cultural experiences. The Maasai is one of the few tribes in the world that still practice many of their ancient traditions. Since Odie is of the Maasai tribe, we visit some of his family's traditional homes, hike "into the bush", wield Maasai weapons (bows, spears, machetes), and visit some local shops and artisans. These experiences are as real and enriching as they come.
